| HOy HOy HOy! Merry xmas!
May I begin by sharing my top 2 favorite xmas gifts of this year... Tadaah

Both wonderful gifts are courtesy of the lovely, Kuting Ordiales. The
headphones were a sort of an expected gift but not looking that cool;
I'm posting some more pics of it later for you to envy heehee
The cd though, I didn't expect! Kitchie's gettin' to be quite a bit of
a fave around here in Manila, and I am among avid fans of hers back at
the office. I know other perceive her to be categorized maybe under pop
and just sounds like any other, but I see her as a rising independent
artist.. which I love, check out my tagline. Hearing her ability in
acoustic performance justified her independent mark on my book.
Take a looksie...

This is what our street looks like right now, how cools is that? Of
course, the photography expertise could use a little improvement but
the lights go all the way through the end of this street and it's just
fun passing throught it!
My Xmas weekend was mostly spent with Kuting coz I missed her a lot,
darn office kept me from her hehe! I first had dinner at my house with
friends and family with a scrumptuous dinner with wine...

.. might I complement our family chef, my sister, by saying that the
roast beef there is home made.. and she made it for the first time!
Looks good eh? Food wasn't bad I tell you.. but I did miss the lechon!
Sigh.. Then after I joined in Kuting's family's xmas gathering for the
first time and it was great! Makes me miss mine back home in Davao. I
had fun being with the Ordiales clan, laughing a lot; also drinking red
wine a lot... I was being picked on by my girl's relatives and kept
getting glasses of wine every couple of minutes.. That would have been
totally harmless, except that I had work at 10 pm later that night
haha, oh man did I crash at my desk at the office at around 4 am this
morning or what! Haha Anyway I'll just leave it that with some more pics, Merry Christmas party people!!

Hmmm... Headphones or earphones.. Headphones or earphones.. Stock or Bad-Ass headphones??! Hmmm...

Why HEADPHONES!! Of Course!!

This is You walking through our street, drunk..

This is You before crashing to a car while walking on our street, drunk..

This is Me, asking You whose lying down on our street, ARE YOU DRUNK!??

And this is Me being creepy down our street..

Wala lang!! Haha Merry Xmas ulet!!!

during my quarter-life.. aren't we all? See y'all up sometime again and
keep posted to my xanga coz I'm gonna be posting missed blogs for the
last.. six months? In no chronological order anyway, just what I could
remember. Ciao!

| Woohoo! Goin to six flags tomorrow with Manila team! Six flags, the big amusement park that's big in Texas. They already have a couple of them here, but we're goin' to the one nearest to Forth Worth which is Arlington; also near The Ballpark that you see I had a good picture in as on my profile. Hope I could stand the rides, recent rides on the Space Shuttle in E.K. have gotten the better of me. I'm not sure that got to me coz I got through the roller coaster in Ocean Park and I did fine! Well anyway, I'm saving the roller coaster for last, just in case, so it doesn't ruin my day. Good plan, right? right?! Sorry if it seems wimpy that I'd just put the roller coaster last but I just wanna make hell of a sure that I get to ride ALL THE RIDES!! Wouldn't want to end up looking wasted in a corner unable to know which side of the world is up... Or I could just take Bonamine? Hwehehe

| TROY OF DALLAS
Ola mi amigos.. long time. Been to dallas this weekend with Manila team, nice of the uncle of the boyfriend of one of my teammates to take us around that time! (whoa, lotta of's) His family lives in Bedford, Texas which is just near Dallas. His kids are under my age and are paying for their own cars already, imagine the envy. And they had a pomerainian dog (hope i spelled that right) named Lilo! An always-excited and very cute little furball that just moves like it was on crack.... but poor dog had to have is rear hair shaved coz some things just 'stick' y'knowwha'mean!? haha not a very pretty sight really...
Anyway, they took us out to Gravpevine mall to watch Troy and shop. Got some nice stuff but i think i'll return one of the chokers i got (that is so convenient here, being able to return stuff without question; it's a myth back at home). That mall was friggin' big by the way, man it tired me out. So then after the walking and shopping, we set out to watch Troy.
Troy was good. Liked it as a movie but as always didn't do much justice to the real story. Thinkin' about the whole story in macro, they missed out on a couple of details that the general audience might typically look for, like the presence of gods and their interferance, etc. But if we were to focus on how certain scenes were made, I would say 'bad ass' on a lot of 'em.. Like I said, it was a good movie. Sulit pa rin yung popcorn kahit pano. Bravo performance by the way for Eric Bana, and if Paris was really that wimpy I'd say bravo to Orlando as well hehe. I hesitate to commend Brad Pitt, man he just goes well with everything he does these days, from the wife, to the appearance, career, etc; need i uplift him more? Hehe owww.. and the bitterness pours out with envy.. But oh well bravo to him too for the fight scenes were good, kinda doubted before watching the movie if he could really pull off those, but he did anyway. Cool.
Well, that was my weekend. What's yours? | | |
